Noya Nachmany - Author of The Anomaly

Noya Nachmany, MSc

AI Ethics Professional, Author & Speaker

Noya Nachmany wrote ‘The Anomaly’: How Human Values Guide Ethical AI Design & Development because she kept seeing the same gap: AI systems being built without the human values they're supposed to serve.

Noya's path to AI ethics is unconventional, and that's precisely what makes her work different. A background in the Performing Arts and Somatics gave her a deep understanding of how people experience, communicate, and make sense of complexity. Training in Information Technology and AI Governance & Ethics gave her the technical and regulatory grounding to work inside the systems themselves. This combination, understanding both the human experience and the technical architecture is why she can do what most AI professionals cannot: make accountability feel intuitive, not intimidating.

This cross-disciplinary foundation led to the Holistic Traceability Model (HTM®), a research-based framework that expands the concept of Traceability in AI Design, Development, and application. HTM® embeds human values throughout the entire AI lifecycle. It is built for non-technical stakeholders to understand, using non-technical methods, with one clear goal: Transparency for all.

With 35 years as an entrepreneur across the Performing Arts, Somatics, clinical research, and therapy, working with non-profits, educational institutions, businesses, and government agencies, Noya brings a lifetime of translating complex ideas into workable practice. Since 2018, she has applied that same drive to Information Technology, gaining hands-on experience in enterprise and systems Architecture across sectors. She is a creator, a researcher, and a strategic thinker with a business mind. That combination, decades of cross-sector entrepreneurship meets deep immersion in tech is what shapes the HTM® framework and the services she develops today.

Noya regularly speaks at conferences and at companies on AI ethics and how the Holistic Traceability Model, the framework at the heart of ‘The Anomaly’, promotes the role and implementation of human values in AI Design & Development. She is available for keynotes, panels, and workshops.
